ULTRA MUSIC FESTIVAL 2014

So now that Ultra is done, there are few sets that you guys have to check out. Overall this weekend was amazing, even if you were streaming online. All three days were amazing. DJs dropped new songs that they are gonna release this year, and some dope remixes and collabs. Even a little rain could not stop Above & Beyond, Armin van Buuren, and Deadmau5 from killing there sets on the second day. Afrojack dropped a new song with Snoop Dogg, that is more trap than his regular electro songs. The future of EDM, Martin Garrix, absolutely destroyed his set. It is a good sign of where the industry is going in the future. Diplo and Skrillex did a set together which was amazing. They combined a bit of trap, moombahton and obliviously dubstep. To end the weekend off, Hardwell, the number 1 dj, broke Ultra record with over 250,000 people tuning into his live stream. This year, trap was the new genre everyone is getting into, with loads of djs, dropping some trap breakdowns in their sets. The line-ups were superb, with so many headliner djs.

There is a YouTube channel that has uploaded some sets and you can check it out here.

ULTRA MIAMI 2014

ULTRA MIAMI 2014, starts today and you can watch it live on the Ultra Site. Unfortunately, few DJs have already pulled out of Ultra this year. Avicii pulled out due to some illness. It is unclear right now, what the illness might be. Laidback Luke is had to take care of family business. He tweeted on Friday morning, “At Ultra, Gina’s water just broke…heading home now for the birth. Hope you understand.” Afrojack is out cause he partied a little too hard, and fell face first. And last, Stefan Engblom of the Dada Life has been flown home for "urgent abdominal surgery." But Olle Cornee is set to perform at Ultra Miami 2014.

TST & twoloud – Drop It Like This (Original Mix)

Its here!! After the preview dropped, many djs have supported it and fans are loving it. This is a minimal electro track is different from every top track on Beatport right now. It does not have a huge build up and a crazy drop, and rather it has a nice rhythm. Some people wonder, is this the way the formula will be, leading into summer?

TST, Tiesto, and twoloud have produced an Alright track just in time for Ultra Miami.  Make sure to check it out!!!

Trap Tuesdays (Free Downloads)

Free downloads this week for all tracks!!

This track is no different than most of UZ's track, solid drops and heavy track overall with nice percussions.

\

A nice remix by ARYAY of Drake's Trophies. The drop could have been better like Steezefield's remix. (Also free download) But, overall this remix is Alright.

This song by SPOL has an international feel to it. More Arabic, to be exact. With all the high notes, its a good pick for a Trap Tuesday playlist, or any other playlist.

MAKJ & Lil Jon - Lets Get F*cked Up

Lets Get F*cked Up

Lil Jon has an unique voice that can just pump up anyone up. Team that up with a producer like MAKJ, and the track is given success. MAKJ has proven success with number 1 hit collabs with Hardwell, with the track, Countdown. Now with this summer tune, MAKJ is looking to take over the scene at this young age.

"With it's driving bass-lines, hypnotic synths and Lil' Jon's trademarkshout, "Let's get F*cked Up" was made to be a party Anthem. The track is already seeing early support from the likes of Laidback Luke,
Showtek, R3hab, DJ Snake and Steve Aoki."

This is an Alright song, give it a listen,  LET'S GET F*CKED UP (PREVIEW) - MAKJ & LIL JON

Steve Aoki, Diplo & Deorro - Freak (feat. Steve Bays)

LETS GET FREAKY

Freak by Steve Aoki, Diplo & Deorro feat. Steve Bays showcases each of producers style. This type of collaboration is rare. With Deorro's dutch house style combined with Diplo's Major Lazer style and Steve Aoki's synths this track is an Alright listen. The breakdown in middle is dope as hell. As the festival season approaching, this track is going to be a banger at Ultra Miami. And for djs, get a copy of this track because is a solid club anthem.

Skrillex's new album is truly a must listen for all Ravers. A new sound to the original dubstep beat is what stands out in this album. Skrillex has collaborated with various artists for this album that includes Diplo, Milo & Otis, Kill The Noise, Fatman Scoop and also Passion Pit lead vocalist Michael Angelakos.

The 11 track album is a roller coaster from genre to genre, bpm to bpm. The collaborations brings a whole new life to this album as each artist brings something new to Skrillex.

Skrillex's production is not one to be questioned. He has proven he can do much from then the traditional "duh DUH DUH DUH DUH deh deh deh dooh de-duh".
